Message from the Prez:

Good morning Hud-Cap!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who made the First Annual Youth Awards Banquet such a success.  We all came together and make it happen for our young people and it was a blessing to witness what can happen when God's people are unified.

This year's there was Finish the Race and even though the race is not over, we are definitely in the lead and entering the final lap (yeah Ellenville!!!!!!!!!!)   I put some pictures from the event on facebook so you guys can check those out.  I just wanted to give you a rundown of the award recipients:

What a wonderful year! Special thanks to all of the AYS leaders who stuck through the year and truly finished the race.  God will continue to bless you as you lead His children to the kingdom.  I also want to thank Elder Donovan Genas for letting the Holy Spirit use him to preach the word, Social Coordinator Joel Soto and Louise Smith for the excellent food, all federation officers, and everyone else who helped with set up and clean up.

This was a blessed year and next year will be even bigger.  I encourage you all not to give up.  I thank you for supporting me this year and trusting me as your President.  You were all very supportive when my grandmother died last month and I appreciate that.  She had a stroke while giving a testimony in church so I know she died in in Christ. I pray that we all will make it to the Kingdom.  Until then, let's continue to Finish the Race and push forward.

There is a round robin scheduled for November 21st at Mid-Hudson.  That is the final event on the Hud-Cap calendar.  Next year, every round robin will be on the same day as your churches youth days so please let us know ASAP when you will be having your youth days so we all can support you.  That's the purpose of the federation.  Unity in Christ.

God bless you and keep you until we meet again.

Sean A. Thomas,
President Hud-Cap Youth Federation
